A Nibble?
I'm continually surprised at my daughter's vocabulary. She often uses words correctly that I don't even realize she knows. For instance, she's recently begun using the word "perhaps."
"Mommy, perhaps you'd like to color now?"
Or, tonight we were driving to dinner and passed by a park she had never before noticed. She breaks out with:
"There are a lot of parks in this area, aren't there?"
Alternately, it's always amusing to me when she misuses a word. Tonight I was about to give my sweet daughter her goodnight kiss when she points to a small bump on her cheek and says,
"Mommy, I have a nibble."
It took her repeating this phrase a few times before I got it...
"Oh, you mean a pimple," I reply.
"Yes," she says. "Will it get big and hurt when I get older?"
What does this say about my complexion these days?!
