Dangerous Elephants?

You know, I just don't really care about who the first person to win 1 million dollars on Deal or No Deal is. I'm just sad that the Olympics are over. It was something real to watch each night. Not a trivial reality show. A real reality show, with real people, working toward real goals, succeeding and failing, but doing it with the utmost pride. It just makes US professional sports so,... oh, what's the right word,... uninspiring. So, here's to Monday night football! (Ugh!)

You may be wondering at the title of my post. It refers to Kate's best comment during the games. She loved watching the Olympics, by the way -- which I think made it even more fun. One day we were watching gymnastics, and the announcer said, "Boy, this routine is just filled with dangerous elements." Wide eyed, Katelyn says to me, "Mom! Where are the dangerous elephants?!"
