A True Blogger
I have to admit that I'm having some trouble getting started with this whole blogging thing. As a truly analytical person, I've come to the conclusion that I have two roadblocks:
1) I'm really more of a listener than a talker. I'm wondering if in order to be an avid blogger you have to be comfortable talking about yourself. Most of the time, I'd much rather listen than talk,... unless, of course, I have something of interest to say.
Which leads me to my second road-block...
2) Some people are very good at finding humor in everday items. I have a very clever friend who is a missionary in Germany. I admire how well she sees the humor in everyday life, and how eloquently she relays her observations. Her's is the first blog I've spent much time reading, so I have an image in my head of how I'd like my blog to look.
So now that my roadblocks are printed for all to see, the pressure is off, and I'll remind myself to just "go ahead and talk", and take some time to find the humor in life. That'll be a good goal for me!

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who "listens" to blogs more than posts. So far, my biggest step has been to respond to posts. I know what you mean about Susan's blog. I even asked if she has considered writing a book because she has such a witty way of writing about every day life. I guess you and I will have to "baby step" ourselves into the uber-cool lifestyle of the blog.
