What has my life come to?
This week I realized that I am officially a stay-at-home-mom. Brace yourself-- I actually gave some serious thought to adding the new Dirt Devil broom/dust-buster to my Christmas list. I saw a commercial for it the other day, and thought, "Cool! Maybe it would work better than the dustpan! And look, those ladies are having so much fun cleaning up they're dancing with their brooms... hum..." And so I ask,... Is this really what my life has come to?
But then, I see this sweet face smiling at me, needing me, each day, and I love that this is what my life has come to.

I totally want one, too! Although Brian and I thought that "V'room" would have been a better name than Broom Vac.
Let's see. Perfume? Broom Vac? Perfume? Broom Vac? Yep, Broom Vac wins hands down! And what darling pics of Kate on Halloween! You are definitely a better Halloween costume mom than I ever was. (We have some hilarious stories about my pitiful attempts at costumes for Susan & Kelly.) Anyway, Kate is just tooooooo cute for words!

Think what your life hasn't come to! No rushing in the morning to get dressed, get Kate to the babysitter, and work all day before going home to make dinner, spend "quality" time and get Kate to bed in time to be a wife and hear Martin's tales of the day. Your life has come to something wonderful! What better job than being a mom.... with no regrets....
